Pattern Options

Bonded Metal has achieved a place of distinction among high-performance surfacing materials. This versatile cast composite offers endless design possibilities for walls, columns, doors and other applications where visual richness and resistance to wear are desired.

Bonded Metal is the product of a unique technology that casts metal granules in a tough, FRP matrix. The castings are lightweight, extremely durable, and have the character and appearance of solid metal. 

Choose from Bonded Aluminum and  Bonded Bronze. The metal granules cast into the composite define each material’s color personality. All color is integral so scratches are far less apparent than in materials with surface applied finishes.

Bonded Metal patterns range from subtle to bold, from lightly textured to organic, handcrafted designs. Our advanced mold-making techniques assure perfect reproduction from casting to casting. Some patterns are available in both horizontal and vertical orientations.

For added enhancement, patterns are available in a choice of Natural or Dark patinas. A Dark patina heightens the contrast between highlights and shadows for a more pronounced three-dimensional effect. A Natural patina provides subtler, more even tonal gradations.

Bonded Metal can be used in many of our Wall Panel, Column and Elevator Interior Systems. It can also be specified as sheet goods for use in doors, wainscoting, counter facings, accents, and custom fabrications of virtually any shape or size. It can be used in interior and select exterior applications.

Options include Bonded Aluminum or Bonded Bronze.

Choose from standard patterns that range from subtle to bold, from lightly textured to organic, handcrafted designs. If applicable to your selected pattern, also specify the pattern orientation: vertical or horizontal.

All patterns are available with a Natural Patina that provides subtle tonal gradations. Most patterns are also available with a Dark Patina that heightens the contrast between pattern highlights and shadows.

Bonded Quartz is a high-performance surfacing solution for today’s interior spaces. This unique cast composite draws on our long history of material casting to yield precisely output patterns that make a striking design statement. 

Bonded Quartz is unlike anything else on the market. In the spirit of F+S cast composites, it’s a beautifully modern solution for bringing texture, dimension, and visual interest to otherwise flat vertical surfaces.

Bonded Quartz incorporates ceramic microspheres in a fiber-reinforced polymer matrix. This combination yields incredibly durable, lightweight castings that have a stunning surface appearance and are easy to clean.

Bonded Quartz keeps things simple with a contemporary palette of Charcoal and White. All color is integral, so scratches are far less noticeable than in materials with surface applied finishes. Custom colors may be an option on a per-project basis.

Patterns range from intricate textures to refined geometrics to designs that echo nature. Each captures shadows, directs light, and brings dimension to the surface in its own unique way. For expanded reach, some patterns are available in horizontal and vertical orientations.

Bonded Quartz castings can be specified in sheet sizes that let you move from architectural accents to applications of monolithic proportions. It can also be used in many of our Wall Panel, Column and Elevator Interior Systems.

Fused Metal is our line of colored stainless steel. It offers all the performance benefits of stainless but lets you move in different visual directions with a mix of rich colors that are beautiful on their own or paired with other F+S materials.

Fused Metal invites colorful creativity. The material’s beauty, strength and versatility make it a match for just about any application or architectural design.

Colorful. By Design.

Color options include Fused Bronze, Fused Graphite, Fused Nickel Bronze, Fused Nickel Silver and Fused White Gold. For each, you can choose from a variety of distinctive finishes to define the metal’s surface appearance. Once you’ve chosen a finish, you have the option of adding a pattern.

Eco-Etch patterns are optional. These eco-friendly etched designs are applied to the metal surface using our advanced photolithographic bead-blasting system instead of acids or harmful chemicals. Choose from our standard patterns or use Eco-Etch to bring custom artwork, logos or graphics into your designs.

Impression patterns are optional. Available in linear, geometric, and organic themes, they can be used to add visual impact, enhanced durability, and a tactile feel. Some Impression patterns are also available in other F+S materials for design continuity throughout a space.

Ceramiloc+ is our protective surface treatment. It’s optional, and can be used with most finishes and patterns. It significantly increases the fingerprint resistance and maintenance ease of the Stainless Steel and minimally alters its surface appearance.

Fused Metal can be used in F+S Wall Panel and Column Systems, Elevator Interiors, Elevator Doors, and more. It can also be specified for custom applications in any size up to 48" x 120" (1219mm x 3048mm). It’s easy to maintain and suitable for interior and select exterior settings.

Options include Fused Bronze, Fused Graphite, Fused Nickel Bronze, Fused Nickel Silver, or Fused White Gold.

Select from a variety of distinctive finishes to define the metal’s surface appearance.

Choose an Impression pattern to add visual impact, enhanced durability, and a tactile feel. Or choose Eco-Etch; you can specify one of our standard patterns or supply a custom design.

Together, Linq Woven Metal and F+S Systems allow you to confidently and creatively bring the texture and beauty of woven stainless steel into your projects.

Linq patterns consist of flat and/or round wires of stainless steel interwoven to create distinctive designs and textures. Some patterns are available with a contrast-enhancing patina for added visual interest.

Linq is ideal for high-traffic public spaces and applications of all shapes and sizes, from feature walls to accents and details. The stainless steel is inherently durable, and the woven patterns help hide scratches and dents.

Linq is available exclusively in our LEVELe Wall Panel and Column Systems and LEVELc and LEVELe Elevator Interiors. This integration makes working with woven metal a simple and attractive proposition. 

With Linq and F+S Systems, we control the entire fabrication process. This ensures high-quality end results that are more cost-efficient than pairing woven metal from one source with the panel and trim solutions of another.

Linq patterns consist of flat and/or round wires of stainless steel interwoven to create distinctive designs and textures. Select from a variety of standard pattern options.

Scribe glass offers spectacular performance as a creative wall or writing board. Intended for use with dry or wet erase markers and/or magnets, it’s a great way to capture information and let your ideas flow. 

Scribe glass invites collaboration and imagination. Perfect for brainstorming sessions, work groups, or keeping track of important details, it’s a natural fit for anywhere ideas happen.

Scribe glass is comprised of a solid color interlayer laminated between a transparent lite of glass and opaque glass backer, or two transparent lites of glass. Each Scribe design combines three distinct elements: Configuration, Interlayer and Finish. 

Configuration refers to how the glass can be used. You have two options with Scribe: Single-sided, for glass installed against a wall or other surface; and Double-sided, for partitions, doors, and applications where the glass is seen from both sides. Both are available in magnetic or non-magnetic variations.

Scribe makes it easy to get your message across. Interlayers feature solid colors and invite you to choose from our standard Ultra White or Blackboard or match any Pantone, Benjamin Moore, or Sherwin Williams color. Custom interlayer graphics are also an option.

Finishes let you define the surface appearance of your glass and enhance your Scribe design. Each finish provides a different level of diffusion, reflectivity, glare, and optical distortion.

Scribe glass can be used in F+S Wall Panel and Column Systems and Elevator Interiors. It can also be specified for custom applications in any size up to 60" x 120" (1524 mm x 3048 mm). It’s easy to maintain and suitable for interior and select exterior settings.
